Dr. Dorothy Mitkowski
Dr. Dorothy Mitkowski completed her Bachelor of Sciences at University of Guelph. She moved abroad and earned her Medical Degree (MD) in Poznan, Poland, followed by her specialization in Family Medicine in Chicago. She returned home to Canada and completed the enhanced skills program in Obstetrics and Women’s Health at Western University in 2022.
Dr. Mitkowski enjoys working with patients of all ages. She has experience in acute and chronic care, mental health conditions and preventative care. She has a strong interest in women’s health and is part of the family medicine-obstetrical teams at St. Michaels and Sunnybrook Hospitals. Dr. Mitkowski advocates for a patient-centered care model and multidisciplinary approach. She is fluent in Polish.
In her spare time, Dr. Mitkowski enjoys travelling, hiking and horseback riding.
